How It Works

• After reading your book, readers are given 3 options: to write a 750-word report (which authors may use for an editorial), a 500-word critique (which authors may use to revise their work), or a review with a 40-word minimum (which is posted on Amazon).

• Reports and critiques are not published, but submitted to the author to be used at their discretion.

• Reviews are directly published on Amazon, with the review link submitted as proof. (This can sometimes take up to 10 days, but generally, Amazon publishes reviews and sends the review link to readers right away).

• This system is in compliance with Amazon regulations in that authors are paying readers for their reading services; not specifically for reviews. (That being said, readers typically opt to review the book)

• If the reader quota is not fulfilled within a satisfactory period of time (for example, 30 readers were requested within a week), remaining funds may be applied to another of the author's books. No refunds except in extreme cases.

• Although entirely positive feedback cannot be promised, satisfaction is guaranteed: Canyon Reviews will review any disputed response to ensure it is honest, unbiased, and demonstrates the reader has read the book. If it is still contested, the reader will be warned and removed from the roster if there are any further infractions. Keep in mind a positive and credible review average is 4.5-4.9 stars.
